RE: ASSIGNMENT OF FEN-PHEN CASES

WHEREAS, the Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit issued an administrative order assigning certain civil actions related to the weight loss drugs Fenfluramine and Phentermine (a.k.a. Fen-Phen) to Division 01, and
WHEREAS, the undersigned has determined that the efficient and proper administration of justice would be best served by assigning all such cases related to Fen-Phen claims to one division;
NOW THEREFORE, I Robert K. Rouse, Jr., Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit, hereby order that upon the filing of a civil action related to a Fen-Phen claim, the Clerk of the Circuit Court, in and for Volusia County, Florida, shall assign said case to Division 01.
