Circuit Judge J. Michael Traynor was elected to the bench in 2000. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Florida and was a practicing attorney for more than 20 years before becoming a judge. His past judicial assignments include criminal, civil, dependency, juvenile delinquency, family and probate. Judge Traynor currently presides over civil and probate cases at the Richard O. Watson Judicial Center in St. Augustine.
