Circuit Judge Raul A. Zambrano was appointed to the bench in 2005. Before his appointment, Judge Zambrano was an assistant state attorney and division chief for the Office of the State Attorney, Seventh Judicial Circuit. He earned a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Judge Zambrano received his juris doctor from Stetson University. He has presided over civil and dependency cases and currently presides over a felony division at the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand.
NEW NOTICE ON FORECLOSURE CASES - Effective immediately, all hearings on foreclosure cases for Division 01 will need to be scheduled on the ZAMBRANO/FORECLOSURE calendar. You may schedule miscellaneous motions on foreclosure cases using 15 minute timeslots and summary judgment motions on foreclosure cases using 5 minute timeslots on this calendar. Please make sure to indicate “Senior Judge” on your notice of hearing and send the notice along with your packet to Senior Judge, c/o Judge Raul A. Zambrano, Volusia County Courthouse, 101 N. Alabama Avenue, DeLand, FL 32724. Hearings will be conducted in hearing room D-314.
Please note, beginning May 6, 2013, the Clerk’s Office will no longer conduct on-site foreclosure sales. All sales will go through www.volusia.realforeclose.com. This will require that all final judgments submitted for sales on or after May 6, 2013 be revised to include this information. You may contact the Clerk’s Office for further details.
