Volusia County Court Judge David B. Beck was appointed to the bench in 2003. Before becoming a judge, he was in private practice and worked as an assistant state attorney. He earned his undergraduate and juris doctor degrees from the University of Florida. He currently hears criminal cases at the Volusia County Courthouse Annex at City Island in Daytona Beach.
