Volusia County Court Judge Shirley Green was elected to the bench in 2004. Before becoming a judge, she was a staff attorney for Central Florida Legal Services in Daytona Beach for more than 10 years. She earned her undergraduate and juris doctor degrees from the University of Miami. Judge Green currently hears civil cases at the Volusia County Courthouse Annex in New Smyrna Beach.
