Volusia County Court Judge Peter A.D. McGlashan was appointed to the bench in 2005. Before his appointment, Judge McGlashan was an assistant state attorney for the Office of the State Attorney, Seventh Judicial Circuit. He earned an undergraduate degree from the University of the West Indies and his juris doctor from the University of Florida. He currently hears misdemeanor cases at the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand.
