Putnam County Court Judge Elizabeth A. Morris was appointed to the bench in 2000. Before becoming a judge, she was in private practice for eight years. She earned both her undergraduate and juris doctor degrees from the University of Florida. Judge Morris hears civil cases as well as juvenile dependency and some family law matters at the Putnam County Courthouse in Palatka.
